Who is this course for

This course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to undertake administrative work across all industries, such as developing work priorities, coordinating customer service strategies, ensuring a safe workplace and producing complex business documents.

Designed for international students who will be involved in training in a full time capacity within the classroom and simulated work environment.

Learning outcomes

This qualification aims to equip participants with some business, managerial, marketing and human resource management skills.

Graduates may pursue a business career in a public or private sector, in roles as an administrator, a project officer, or a business owner.

Assessment Summary

As this is a competency based program, assessment continues throughout the program until the participant either achieves competency in the assessment tasks or a further training need is identified and addressed.

Participants will be advised of the assessment requirements at the beginning of each unit.

Assessment results recognise student achievement against each competency.

Assessment is both formative and summative and a holistic approach has been applied where possible.
